What Is Chasing Duck
by Jan Thomas

I like that there was kindness, and it was easy to read

My Brilliant Life
by Ae-Ran Kim

This is a great story. The main character, a teenage boy who is dying from a rare condition, is so endearing. It talks about what he goes through and his feelings. His parents are mentioned some, but the story is told from the boy's viewpoint on life. I recommend it!

The Road To Bittersweet
by Donna Everhart

I really enjoyed this book. The family has a very difficult life, yet the main character really preservers.

Murder at Pirate's Cove
by Josh Lanyon

It was OK. I didn't like the ending very well. I probably won't read the next part of the series.

by Julie Murphy

I wasn't sure at first that I would like this book, but I actually really did enjoy it. Mother-daughter relationships can be difficult, especially when the daughter is a teenager.

The Book of Two Ways
by Jodi Picoult

I love Jodi Picoult and this book is also so good. She really dives into Egyptology and explains quite a bit. It wasn't as fast a read as some of her other books, but I thoroughly enjoyed the premise of the book and the main character.

City Of Thieves
by David Benioff

I received this book as a gift since I enjoy historical fiction. It was really well written and at times so funny. It takes p[ace during WW II in Russia. I recommend this book if you like historical fiction!

The Lost Hero Rick Riordan
by Rick Riordan

It was very good.

The Puppy Place Pugsley
by Ellen Miles

It's about dog and how they find their forever homes.

The Consequences of Fear
by Jacqueline Winspear

The latest Maisie Dobbs Novel. I really enjoyed this book, got into it and really enjoyed it. Massie solves a good mystery set in WW2 in England along with her friends, family and a love interest. I really like this series and have reread the series a few times. Highly recommended!
